Arjen Robben

The Bayern Munich player is famous for his pace, skill, diving, lack of sportsmanship and balding head.

Here he is sharing a joke with fellow cheater Didier Drogba.

He has to be the oldest looking 26 year old I have ever seen, not counting oddities like Benjamin Button.
Part of this is due to his old man's face, and part is down to his advanced baldness.

He is a another multi-millionaire football player and may be about to add the European Cup to his long list of honours. Whether this makes up for losing his hair so young I don't know.

Chelsea Football Club

After posting about captain John Terry, Ashley Cole and Joe Cole, and taking into account the individuals below, it seems there is something foul in the air over at Stamford Bridge, with a large proportion of their players suffering from hair loss.

Peter Cech usually hides his receding hairline under that bizarre helmet.

Ricardo Carvalho, who is rumoured to have had a hair transplant.

Here he is more recently.

Michael Essien, receding.

Jose Bosingwa, receding but ironically sports a unibrow.

Alex, receding.

Nicolas Anelka, hides his baldness by shaving his head.

So that is 9 out of 20 or so first team members that are noticeably balding in some way, which seems quite a high percentage. In time I will compare this with other football teams, and I'm sure you will agree that the results will be fascinating.

So for now anyway, I hereby name Chelsea Football Club the most balding team in the English Premier League.

Joe Cole

Congratulations to Joe Cole who became a father a few days ago! This will hopefully take his mind off his baldness problem, which has manifested itself in a monk like patch at the crown.

I remember noticing this appearing a few years ago but now even non baldness obsessed people can see it.

It has developed slowly over time and I think finasteride and minoxidil would probably halt it's progress.

A technically very gifted footballer, it is no surprise that Mr Cole has been compared to the great Zinedine Zidane.

Ashley Cole

Probably one of the most hated footballers in England, Cole has been in the news for all the wrong reasons recently.

Sadly for him, his receding hairline is getting worse as he approaches his 30s.

However it is hard to feel sorry for a man who regularly cheats on his wife, commits disgraceful fouls on the football pitch and who was 'incensed' and 'trembled with anger' when offered a weekly wage of £55,000.

At least he can count on his friendship with fellow scumbag John Terry to help see him through these tough times.

John Terry

Disgraced England soccer captain John Terry looks like he's been balding for years.

In his younger days he tried out a skinhead but unsurprisingly looked like a thug.

On closer inspection though, his hair has barely changed over the past 10 years.

A bit more recession maybe, but this has progressed very slowly.

While his unusual hairline may look like it has been subject to a hair transplant, this is unlikely given the nature of his job and lack of post operation recovery time available to him.

When he is not bringing disgrace to the England team with his off field antics, he can often be found disgracing himself by crying on the pitch.

If he were to grow his hair out, here's what he could look like, thanks to lookalike transsexual Lucy Smith.
